In the mail a couple weeks back I got a coupon from TXU for a free ham. So the search began for what I could make with them besides the same ol', same ol'. After I found this recipe pinned on Pinterest this was the winner and man were they delicious. At Fajita Friday where they were served the boys, including mine who said I shouldn't make them, raved and said I could make them anytime. I didn't put the poppy seeds in them as the recipe suggests and I didn't get a picture of them. They weren't around long.
Yes I know Thanksgiving is still tomorrow. I know Christmas shirts don't need to be worn soon. But they need to be ordered if you would like one and I enjoy making them. Here are a few that I've made and I have some more ideas as well.
It's been a busy week. Between the orders from the shop, getting back to quilting and oh yea work it's been busy but oh so fun. The pillow covers have been added to my shop and can also be put on a shirt or onesie instead.
I almost forgot to post a song...but I have a song that I love the sound of. This song is being spotlighted on a Subaru commercial. And this Sean Hayes should not be confused with the actor that played Jack on Will and Grace. I only know this after trying to find the song once I heard it a couple times on the commercial. Hope you enjoy!!!
Even though I think establishments start to decorate for Christmas way too early I was excited to see last week that Michael Buble has put out a new Christmas album. (Not as excited to see Justin Beiber's) I love Christmas but enjoy it for that period of time after Thanksgiving until New Year's day. Then I'm done with it until the next year. So although I won't really be enjoying this song fully till the Friday after Thanksgiving I thought I would share since it already is starting to look like Christmas with all the decorations going up around town.
I made this shirt for my nephew, Turner, and have added it to my shop. The feathers can be changed to different color schemes for boys or girls. It can be added to tshirts of any colors, long sleeve, short sleeve or on onesies. I've also seen where the feathers are ribbons which is very cute.
My all time favorite fast food item is the Mexican pizza at Taco Bell. So when I came across a pin on Pinterest with an imitation recipe I had to try it. It tasted just like I had gotten it from the nearest Taco Bell but better. It tasted so good I have to confess that I ate two of them but hey the meal comes with two tacos so what's the difference right?!? (Click here for the recipe)
